4 WELCOME MESSAGE Dear Colleagues and Friends It is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the 38th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Association of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons (APACRS), held jointly with the 55th Annual Meeting of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of Thailand (RCOPT), taking place from 4–6 June 2026 at the Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH), Thailand. We are delighted to host this prestigious joint meeting in Pattaya, a vibrant coastal city on the Gulf of Thailand renowned for its natural beauty, warm hospitality, and rich cultural charm. Conveniently located just 90 minutes from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Pattaya provides an ideal setting for welcoming colleagues and friends from across the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.
