FF4-08 The Implantable Polypropylene Capsular Hooks – A novel technique for the management of subluxated lenses Haiying JIN China PURPOSE: To present a technique of implantable polypropylene capsular hooks with original novelty. METHOD: The hooks were made of 5-0, 6-0 or 7-0 polypropylene sutures by cauterization. Scanning electron micrography and animal experiments were performed. Different types of capsular hooks were applied subluxated lenses. The hooks were intrasclerally fixated without the requirement of conjunctival dissections and creation of scleral flaps. RESULTS: This in-house production presents the same quality as that of a professional entity. Details of the creations of the hooks, surgical procedures and clinical results are presented. CONCLUSION: The implantable polypropylene capsular hooks is a safe and reliable technique for the management of lens subluxation. FILM FESTIVAL 电影节
