Membership Information

APACRS membership is offered to qualified practising ophthalmologists in the Asia-Pacific region and must be approved by the APACRS Board of Officers. Those who do not qualify for full membership may be admitted as Associate Members.

Categories & Privileges

Ordinary membership includes the following benefits:

  • Reduced registration fees at APACRS congress during subscription
  • Free access to EyeWorld Asia-Pacific News Magazine
  • Membership application subject to approval by the APACRS Board of Officers
  • Membership Certificate upon approval
  • With voting right
  • Subscription Fee: US$100 for 1 year

Associate Membership includes the following benefits:

  • Reduced registration fees at all APACRS Annual Congresses for the 3-year membership period
  • Free access to EyeWorld Asia-Pacific News Magazine
  • Membership Certificate upon approval by the Board of Officers
  • No voting right
  • Subscription Fee: US$50 for 3 years

Eligibility:

  • (i) Applicant must be a practising ophthalmologist. Residents and fellows are not eligible for APACRS membership.
  • (ii) Any other experience determined as relevant by the APACRS Board.
